They may have lost the sponsorship rights to the NRL stadium at Homebush, losing to ANZ - but major Australian Telco Telstra still are the full naming rights sponsor of the 2008 NRL Rugby League Premiership.
With logo, tv and merchandise coverage the rewards are many for the Australian institution. However their loss of the sponsorship of Stadium Australia surely would have hurt slightly.
NRL is set to kick off again in 2008, with only a couple of weeks before trial games kick off.
